Project Pyramid

Research and ideas about the Great Pyramid of Giza. Lets add another piece to the puzzle.

Welcome to my pyramid project

My interest for pyramids and mostly the Great Pyramid of Giza and what it really is started some time around the year 2000. Reading books by other researchers, searching the internet and with my engineering background I can see that the hole structure might have had some kind of function, like a machine or a device. The big question is what’s its purpose, who knows?

The portcullis system in the heart of Cheops is an enigma. It sits between the King’s Chamber and the Grand Gallery. My own research will mostly be about the antechamber acting as a flow regulator for water.

Probably the first researcher and author to provide a water related explanation for the anti-chamber was Edward Kunkel. He originally published his book titled Pharaoh’s Pump in 1962.

I would like to highlight that some of what is presented here are ideas from other investigators. In those cases, I refer to these. What I want to show and emphasize is more to practically test these theories.

Project Pyramid Content

  • Research

Ideas and thoughts will be presented here with links to Youtube videos.
    IN PROGRESS

  • 3D Drawings

First step is to make 3D drawing of some of the internal chambers. Basis for doing that comes from a Italian pyramid researcher Vito Maragioglio who made drawings 1965 of the pyramid chambers.
    IN PROGRESS

  • 3D Models

Experiment with real 3D models really helps in understanding things more. Hopfully i will have accessto  a 3D printer in the future and make a small model of antechamber with other parts.
